Training Plans

If you have been frustrated by not being able to attain a specific skill, it may take extra work beyond a group class. For example, you may be stuck at the same number of pull-ups (or zero pull-ups) or running at the same speed no matter what you do. No worries - we’re here to help!

These training plans were created in direct response to the most common questions we’ve received and have proven to be successful if you can commit to at least 4 weeks of 15-30 minutes work 2-3 times per week.

The training plans are a one-time purchase that help you achieve the next level and have different entry points depending on your current level. For a more premium experience, there is also a pricing option for a virtual coaching session.

  • CrossFit Tysons Pull-Up progress

    Pull-Up Builder

    This training plan was created by CrossFit Tysons Corner coaches with over 10 years' experience helping people improve their pull-up capacity. The training plan focuses on getting your first pull-up or increasing your pull-up volume.

    You can complete the work in 2-3 days a week while at CFTC or on your own. The training assumes that you are involved with some other physical activity, CrossFit or otherwise outside of these auxiliary workouts.

    Includes: Video library of movements, starting points for 0 - 10+ pull-Ups, progressive exercises for up to a 12-week program

    Cost with half-hour Virtual Coaching session: $79

  • CrossFit Tysons running group

    Speed Builder

    This training plan was created by CrossFit Tysons Corner coaches with over 10 years' experience helping people improve their running speed. The training plan focuses on improving speed for races from 1 Miles to 6.2 Miles (10K).

    You can complete the work in 2-3 days a week while at CrossFit Tysons Corner or on your own. The training assumes that you are involved with some other physical activity, CrossFit or otherwise outside of these auxiliary workouts.

    Includes: 3 workouts a week for up to a 6 week program, mix of sprint, interval and distance workouts, pacing suggestions and reasons for each workout
